Cat started performing at the age of 3, beginning her stage experience as a young ballerina. She received her first guitar at the age of 10 (later delving into piano), and by age 17 she was a full-fledged ‘gigging musician’ booking herself at local coffeehouses, and sponsored street busking events. Performing her original material at these locales gained momentum quickly, and Cat was able to build a strong and loyal fan-base in the Jersey Shore area. Cat is a graduate of The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), where she received a degree in Communication: Radio, TV, and Film. While at TCNJ, she was a member of TCNJ Musical Theatre, a student-run theatre organization, as well as the Mixed Signals, an improv comedy troupe, and the campus radio station, WTSR, as a dayside DJ. Since 2009, she began opening for several national acts such as John Eddie, Jeffrey Gaines, The Head and the Heart, and Garland Jeffreys. Cat joined Glen Burtnik (Styx) on stage as a choral backup singer in November 2011 during a Beatles tribute tour. She is also a two-time (2010, 2011) Asbury Music Award nominee for Top Female Acoustic Act and Top Female Vocalist. CAT won the Jersey Acoustic Music Award for Top Pop/Rock Act in 2012.
