This odd, somewhat accidental group was formed in the winter of 2008. The band’s founder, Julian Fulton, had spent his high school years writing songs and listening very carefully to all sorts of music. During this time, his brother, Aidan, developed his skills on the drums.
Eventually, their musical paths finally collided, their jam sessions left them feeling ridiculously satisfied, and Julian’s girlfriend Kristine put on the final touch’s with her melodic backing vocals (which add subtle, soft contrast to their sometimes raw sound).
The name “The BCC’s” was originally chosen as an inside joke, but the pseudonym stuck and inadvertently matched the fun attitude of the music. The group has been playing and developing for over a year now, involving various musicians in their live show, and trying to spread their message throughout New Jersey: rock is not dead. It’s just not on MTV.
